Gluten Free Baking Mixes

These mixes work really well in all the recipes that I post on this blog and are quicker when making a large batch.  So if you want to make your own flour mixes here you go! But if you don’t have the time my favorite go to commercial mixes are from Bob’s Red Mill. Trust me I have tried them all and this brand just performs the best consistently.

General Flour Mix:
1 cup Brown Rice Flour
1 cup Potato Starch
1 cup Tapioca Flour

White Bread Mix:
2 1/2 cups Tapioca Flour
2 1/2 cups Potato Starch
2 cups Brown Rice Flour
2 cups Sorghum Flour

Bread Mix #2:
1 ½ cups Tapioca Flour

1 ½ cups Potato Starch

2 cups Brown Rice Flour

2 cups Sorghum Flour

2 cups Buckwheat

Ancient Grains Mix:

1 1/2 cup millet

1 1/2 cup tapioca

1 1/2 cup teff

3 cup sorghum

1 cup amaranth

1 1/2 cup potato starch

PS I get that the starches are not classified as “ancient grains” but you do need them for great texture.
